Ok… This is a real step by step domain transfer I did for a client… The domains were with Galcomm and I transferred them to www.GoDaddy.com
Every domain has an email account associated with it.
First Step. Call the current registrar and ask for a release code.
The release code will arrive on an email like the one below
Now call the new registrar. This will cost. www.GoDaddy.com is currently charging close to $8, and that includes one year registration
Once you requested the transfer log in your www.GoDaddy.com account and go to the domain manager and feed the release codes
The previous email address will receive a notification for domain name transfer. If confirmed the transfer is immediate, if not, it takes 5 days. I
